I have been using all sorts of free and commercial extensions for joomla since I started with no knowledge of building, editing and maintaining a website a couple of years ago. Many components seem to be built for the moment, easily thrown around for the eventual cash-in as the demand for useful components is growing dramatically. Truth to be told , somewhere in between this mere waste of precious time and money, you’ll find a seminal, nerve-preserving component called "Joomla Music Collection", with a dedicated and useful support which is second to none. Ever since using it, my interest in music has risen again dramatically, making me (re-)discover some pearls of my musical past and present. If I ever encounter any problems, I usually find my problem already being discussed and worked on in the support forum, or Germi will eventually have a personal look at my website, pointing me in the right direction to go. In short terms, if you seriously decide to build a website that is supposed to be out for a while, chances are high, "Joomla Music Collection" is amongst the Germinal components you’ll have to use..

There are a multitude of applications for CMS’s that are available to use with mp3’s but I feel that Music Collection is in a League of its own... There is nothing that is comparable to MC... I have looked at Drupal, Wordpress, ocPortal, VBulletin and there is nothing that can compare to the Functionality of MC. Music Collection has allowed me to create a Site where I can use its powerful classification and display features, but make it extremely easy for the Users to navigate... and the Search engine is Awesome!!!
